Hi, my name is Ella. My university journey began with poor grades, endless study sessions, and almost failing out of University my first year. Through persistence and self-teaching, I discovered study strategies that completely transformed my approach to learning. I went on to graduate at the top of my academic unit on the Dean’s list, earning a Bachelor of Science, Honours with Distinction, and receiving full-tuition offers from graduate schools. Today I am a graduate researcher in paediatric neuropsychology.

I created UNI101 to share the strategies that helped me become a stronger student including evidence-based approaches to studying, organization, and time management. My goal is to help other students’ transition into university feel less overwhelming and share study skills they can use throughout their degree to succeed.
